Intersex Philippines Inc. is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to nurturing a vibrant community of empowered intersex individuals and their families in the Philippines. Since its inception in 2019, the organization has championed equal rights, self-determination, and bodily autonomy while creating safe and inclusive spaces. It continues to provide valuable resources and steadfast support that help intersex Filipinos embrace their identities, assert their rights, and engage in meaningful advocacy.
Intersex Philippines is also committed to sharing the real stories and lived experiences of intersex Filipinos. By raising awareness of the challenges they face in family, community, religion, culture, and politics, the organization seeks not only to educate, but also to foster compassion and understanding. Through this work, we envision a society where intersex people are fully accepted, respected, and valued for who they are.
