Cagandahan Bill -  House Bill 00619

The Cagandahan Bill, named after Jeff Cagandahan, honors the landmark 2008 Supreme Court ruling that recognized the right of an intersex person to self-identify and amend their legal name and sex in the civil register. Building on this precedent, the bill seeks to establish a clear and accessible administrative process—allowing adult intersex Filipinos to correct their name and sex markers without the need for lengthy court proceedings, provided proper medical documentation supports their case.

I EXIST DOCUMENTARY
